Your Family’s Story Lives in Our Archives

The AHSGR Heritage Center is proud to be known as the largest repository of information about Germans from Russia in the Western Hemisphere. Our collection holds:

• Russian census and church records
• Photographs and images
• Maps and surname charts
• Oral recordings and personal histories
• Rare documents from colonies in the Volga, Black Sea, and Caucasus regions
• Contributed family histories from members
• And much more!

Today, many of our collections are accessible only to visitors to the Heritage Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. High-resolution images, audio, and video cannot be shared through our current website. Our collections are vulnerable. As time passes, we risk losing valuable context and firsthand knowledge.
