Chapter Activities: The Chapter generally meets on the first Wednesday of each month from September to November and from February to May. In-person meetings take place between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (Saskatchewan Time Zone). Dues are CA$25 per calendar year. Our meetings and library space are in the Regina German Club.

Upcoming event:
November 15, 2025 – We are giving a Zoom presentation with a question session on German from Russia settlements in Saskatchewan. It will be available to AHSGR members through the Golden Gate chapter, who are hosting the event at 1pm – 2pm (PST).
Past events:
September 6, 2025 presentation by Wayne Garman: War and German Immigration to Russia – 1760 – 1820. Attached is the event poster and a picture of the event at the Regina German Club.
August 2025 – Chapter members toured historic Germans from Russia graveyards with German iron crosses, as well the related churches and museum.
Christmas 2024 – Chapter members and guests toured a number of Regina homes that have elaborate displays of traditional German Christmas villages.
Thanksgiving weekend 2024 – Dr. Ann Braaten and Michael Miller of North Dakota State University gave presentations at the German Club on successive evenings, with a banquet on Saturday night.
