The following indexes/abstracts for the “Letters from Hell 1922-1924” was compiled and written by Delbert Amen of
Oklahoma.

Mr. Amen read more than 600 letters from this time period and recorded each and every occurrence written about or mentioned. News included, but not limited to, deaths, births, village names, names of people searching for relatives, arrests, assistance being sought and by whom, and thank you messages for gifts received from friends and relatives in the United States.

Each letter was assigned a “Letter ID” for easy identification and tracking throughout the documents. The “Letter ID” is used in the “Last Name Index” and “Place (Location) Index” to reference information contained in both the  “Letters from Hell Abstracts” and the actual “Letters from Hell” documents.

The 1922 Letters from Hell is available for sale in our online store.
