Before July 1, 2025: 75% of an individual’s convention registration payment received by AHSGR can be refunded
July 1-July 25, 2025: 50% of an individual’s convention registration payment received by AHSGR can be refunded
July 25 and after: No refunds

AHSGR will reach out to you when you place an order for further information. Please note: controversial advertisements will not be accepted and AHSGR has final approval or denial authority.

The purpose of the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) is to celebrate exceptional individuals who have had an extraordinary, sustained impact on the Society and/or the Foundation. We invite you to share their story describing their contributions.
The selection committee considers the following attributes during the review process:
-Type of contribution: Time; Expertise; Leadership and Financial. Magnitude of contribution: Effort; Duration; Scope of influence required (individual/team/Society/GR community).
-Impact on AHSGR (aligned with the current strategic plan): Ensures financial stability of AHSGR; Expands reach of AHSGR; Strengthens partnerships in Germans from Russia community.
Thank you for sharing their stories, so that we can celebrate these dedicated individuals.

Tour 1: Bottoms Neighborhood Tour
Tour 1: Bottoms Neighborhood TourJoin Historian Ed Zimmer as he leads a tour of Lincoln North and South Bottoms. These Historic Districts were settled by Germans from Russia in the ate 19th and early 20th centuries. This is a bus and walking tour.

Tour 2: Audubon Great PlainsTour the Prairies like the they were when the Germans from Russia immigrants first settled here! The National Audubon Society protects birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow. Audubon works throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. Educational Center, Walking Tour and Gift Shop.
