The book presents the results of deciphering and comparing documents concerning the arrival and settlement of colonists in Russia in 1766. The original Kuhlberg lists serve as the basis, which we reread and present in two versions – in Russian and German. The dates of the revision in the Volga region were also reconstructed based on archival material. As a result, many names have changed, and many families that seemed lost have reappeared out of nowhere.
