Voronzovka (Michaelstal): A German Colony in the North Caucasus

This is a history of a German colony created in 1852 near the Russian city of Yeisk in the North Caucasus, the antecedent events in Russia and the Caucasus leading up to its creation, and a history of its mother colony Riebensdorf in the upper Don River area. Also covered are histories of adjacent German colonies in the area: Alexandrovka, Olgenfeld, Ruhental, Henne, Eigenfeld, Eigenheim, Blumental, Novo-Ilyevka, Roggenfeld, Mariental, Rosental, Neu-Hofnung, and the Latvian colonies of Zwaigznit and Taurup 1 & 2.
