Map #72 1788 – Colonies in Saratov Region, 1770s – Color

Color Map of German Colonies established on the Volga in the territory of Saratov

This is a reproduction from a restored map engraved by Pierre Francois Tardieu and issued in Paris in 1788. The map shows all the German colonies that were founded in the 1760’s except for Holstein, Kutter (Brehning). and Yagodnaya Polyana. It was printed with archival inks on acid-free paper, making it nonyellowing when it is properly framed under glass.
