This is a compilation of data concerning the Volga Colony Grimm (Lesnoi Karamysch, Kamenskij) established July 1, 1767. Maps and photographs are included. While some of the data is redundant, it comes from different sources and different points of view. Also, it comes from various points in time in the history of this German-Russian colony that includes settlement of the colony, years of prosperity, effects of overcrowding, failures of communism, and horrors of deportation.
