When searching AHSGR’s German Russian passenger lists by surname, you will find the name(s) of the periodical that those surnames were listed in. You will then need to obtain copies of the pages in those periodicals to find the names, ages and relationships of the individuals, as well as the ship they came on, port of arrival, date and sometimes the village name. Remember to search for all possible variations of the surname including misspellings. The same method can be used by searching for a village or a ship.
